Frequently Asked Questions
HOW DOES THE 2 DAY SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING COURSE DIFFER FROM GRI’S CERTIFIED TRAINING?
Paia’s training is delivered by individuals who have unparalleled depth of hands on expertise in reporting locally. To note, GRI’s certified training does not require the trainer to have ever worked on a sustainability report. The GRI certified training is focused around communicating GRI’s Guidelines. The key difference to our training is that we focus on the practical application of those guidelines, based on our Singapore team’s experience of having worked on over 120 sustainability reports. Each of Paia’s lead trainers has personally worked on at least 25 sustainability reporting projects, so our training shares practical guidance on how to actually apply the guidelines in practice. Of SGX’s 24 Sustainability Leaders, 14 worked with Paia.
Please also note that our understanding is that GRI’s certified training leads to a certification of attendance. If attendees then want to become certified to GRI they must sit a separate exam with additional fees applicable.
WILL LUNCH BE PROVIDED?

HOW DOES THIS DIFFER FROM YOUR USUAL 2-DAY TRAINING? IF I HAD ATTENDED THE 2-DAY COURSE, SHOULD I ATTEND THIS?
This is far more than just training; it is a Handbook to guide companies through how to do a sustainability report and be SGX compliant. The Handbook is based on our expertise working on over 120 sustainability reporting projects and simplifies the whole process for companies looking to comply with the reporting requirements.
