Following a study sabbatical in 2018, Bennett was most recently with Impact Investment Exchange, where he oversaw the transaction advisory team’s impact investment due diligence and impact measurement process. He has worked with social enterprises across South Asia and Southeast Asia, and worked on several projects commissioned by development finance institutes (DFIs) and NGOs including Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) to promote sustainable and blended finance opportunities across supply chains in Southeast Asia.
Prior to this, Bennett spent over 10 years in financial services with several banks and the Lloyd’s of London insurance market working with clients in the commodities and energy sectors. He has a proven track record in client origination and risk underwriting, and has evaluated EIAs as part of underwriting risk cover for project financing of renewables in Asia.
